GLENWOOD GRADE SCHOOL &
ROOSEVELT JR HIGH... SAME SCHOOLS?
| When
Charleston needed two new schools in 1920, the Board decided
to
save money by designing both schools the same. Other than a
few
little details, that's how they were built. The biggest
difference was the facade of Glenwood VS Roosevelt. Glenwood
had
a more castle appearance in the front. This change probably
came
at the last minute in the planning. |
