The Pine Manor Club And The Party Of The Century

The Pine Manor Club off of Oakridge Drive,  (just off Greenbrier Street)  was the scene of the party of the Century.  Cars were parked from the top of hill, all the way down Oakridge Dr and down Greenbrier Street to the flatlands of Charleston proper.

About the famous Dog Wagon...

The Dog Wagon started in a lunch wagon on Summers St,  and later moved to the Arcade  during WWII

The pet bears at  Pine Manor were famous far and wide. I have talked to old timers who still remember them.
