Capitol City Motorcycle Club 1937

The Capitol City Motorcycle Club was the largest and hottest ticket of the day.  Formed  in the mid 30s, the group was involved with motorcycle races in Dunbar, hill climbs, and general club events like rides to anywhere just for the fun of it.  These werent outlaw bikers.  Most were people with good jobs that simply liked to ride.  They held many dances for instance at the West Side and South Charleston Women's Club.  Maybe your grandfather or grandmother was a member!  If so, let me know and I'll add the names.

This is a HUGE panoroma of the club taken in Evans WV.  Evans is 3 miles West of Ripley WV.  This photo is so large, that it wasnt possible to present it properly.  I had to resize and resize again just to allow it on my server.  This means that quality was lost from the original photo, but in order to show it at all, I've broken it down into sections.

First, here is a stripped down version.  Click on the photo below to see the larger image.
