CAPITOL STREET 1920s
This photo from the 20s shows Capitol Street stopped Quarrier Street just to the right, and many years later would continue-on right through to Summers Street, just about where that fire hydrant is located. Schwabe-May is in a prominent location and A.W. Cox is just down the street. It's believed that the old clock now hangs on City Hall. |
