Now THIS is cool 3 Wheeler!

Standard three wheel motorcycles are inherently unstable. Anyone who's driven a 3 wheeler
will tell you that it cant be ridden like a standard bike. The 1 wheel in front-2 wheels
in back configuration simply wont allow you to take the curves very fast. Enter the Spyder!
This 2 wheels in front-1 wheel in back solves the problem. And the 50+ year old lady who
drives this one will tell you that after almost 5000 miles since April, she's very happy
with this machine. I can see an enclosed top in it's future (either by the manufacturer
or by an aftermarket company ) so it could be ridden year round in comfort. Too cool!

Bombardier Recreational Products, a privately owned company spun off from Canadian transportation giant Bombardier (BDRPF) in 2003, designed the Spyder to make the thrill of motorcycle riding accessible to all. An eye-popping three-wheel configuration they call Y-architecture (two wheels in front, one in back) means novice riders don't have to support the weight of the bike or worry about tipping over as they ride. But don't call it a tricycle: Inside is a 998cc, 106-horsepower V-twin engine capable of zooming you from 0 to 60 in 4.5 seconds, faster than most Ferraris.

I took these photos in South Hills, as the lady who owns this bike was passing through

NOW FOR SOMETHING ELSE A LITTLE DIFFERENT

Last week I watched as a motorcycle cruised down Capitol Street.... except for one thing: It wasn't a motorcycle.
I mean, it LOOKED like a motorcycle, but something was missing. Oh yea.. the ENGINE! So I decided that it must really be a scooter SHAPED like a motorcycle. Sure enough, a quick check on the internet brings up this "Scooter- Cycle". Now personally I think this is a GREAT idea. Lots of people are going to be buying scooters for the gas savings, but some 'macho men" wouldn't be caught dead on a scooter. Here's a chance to save face and gas at the same time! It's around 3 Grand, will do 75 mph, and is fully automatic! What more could you ask for?
